Shernon Osepa, currently a Strategic Advisor with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), is a seasoned telecommunications and Internet Operations and Policy professional with over 30 years of experience. He has held significant roles, including Director of Caribbean Affairs and Development at the Internet Society (ISOC) and Manager of Regional Relations Caribbean at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Osepa is known for his expertise in Internet governance, telecommunications, utility regulation, cybersecurity, and natural disaster mitigation strategies. He is particularly focused on the development of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and the promotion of economic and social development through internet access and trust. He is also the co-founder of the Caribbean Peering and Interconnection Forum (CarPIF). His insights are highly regarded, and he is seen as a key figure in driving internet policy and development in the Caribbean region.
